Getting around

My two favorite modes of transportation are my Surly Long Haul Trucker and my Cessna U206B. Both have their advantages: it's hard to take the 206 to the store, and easier to go on a long cross-country and back in a day in plane. But for getting around town and weekend trips I can't beat the ease, flexibility and cost of traveling on the LHT. Both are heavy. I only notice the weight of the LHT when I need to push it up-hill, and the weight of the 206 is only noticable when it is 54C and I want to take off with a full load, or when I have to push it uphill into the hangar. But the best is when I can take the LHT in the 206 and go somewhere cooler to ride the bike, like to Idaho to visit Randy (another cyclist) and Margie.
